Will Estes 50d6601a9a fix(examples): build the manual examples on current systems
Most of the programs in examples/manual no longer built.
Makefile.examples linked with -ll, which most systems do not have,
and it had no recipe for seven examples that can be built. Several
sources also used old interfaces: a <malloc.h> include, %lf for a
long double, functions called before they were declared, and <<EOF>>
actions that began on the line after the pattern. In the two include
examples the <<EOF>> rule deleted the parent buffer rather than the
finished one.

Earlier commits already brought some of the examples up to the newer
interfaces. This finishes the ones that still did not build.

Link with -lfl, add the missing recipes, and fix the sources. Leave
pascal.lex out, since there is no grammar for it here.

This directory contains some examples of what you can do with
flex. These files are not tested regularly so you might have to tinker
a bit before they work for you. Updates, new files and patches are welcome.

	- debflex.awk, an awk script for annotating flex debug output.
	  It presently only works with gawk and mawk, not with "old"
	  or "new" awk.

	- testxxLexer.l, a sample C++ program that uses flex's scanner
	  class option ("-+").

	- fastwc/, a subdirectory containing examples of how to use flex
	  to write progressively higher-performance versions of the Unix
	  "wc" utility. This certainly should work with 2.5, but hasn't
	  been tested.
